Verkligen ett stort tack till alla som läst och kommenterat. Jag vet att jag lovade er ett nytt kapitel för flera dagar sedan, men jag har varit ganska upptagen, hur som helst; här har ni kapitel numero 6!

6. Lily Evans is not a virgin

The snow was almost three feet deep by now, covering the grounds of Hogwarts like a thick, white blanket. And it was still snowing.

Lily sat in a window frame in the north tower, her legs pulled up to her stomach and her head leaning against the cool window. The classes had ended for the day and the stairwell was empty. She was alone. And she felt alone as well, totally and utterly alone.

Looking down at the parchment in her hand she sighed.

‘Dear mum and dad’ it read, but nothing more. For an hour now she'd tried to write a letter to them, but to no avail. She didn't know what to write. It's not like anyone ever taught you how to tell your parents that you're pregnant...

‘I'm writing to forewarn you so that you don't get a heart attack seeing my giant stomach when I return home for Christmas vacation. Yes, I'm pregnant and before your mayor lecture and yelling and grounding me forever, I want you to know that we were under the influence of alcohol and that I swear I wont be sexually active again until I'm married. I can't wait to see you! Much Love, your youngest daughter Lily’

‘Yeah right.’ Lily let out a cry of frustration as she crumpled the parchment and threw it angrily at the stone wall. It landed a few steps down the staircase, at the feet of none other than Sirius Black.

A lopsided grin was spread across his face and his gaze dropped to the ball of parchment. “Trying to declare your love, Lily flower?” he said teasingly as he bent down to pick it up.

Lily rolled her eyes, not knowing what to answer.

Sirius was attractive. He was extremely attractive - on the outside. He was muscular, but not over built. He had gorgeous curly black hair that quite frequently fell into his silver grey eyes. His eyelashes were long and inviting, and his lips –! He had the most beautiful shaped lips she'd ever seen.

Needless to say, he was hard to resist. Maybe that was why she always felt so uncomfortable around him.

Sirius raised his eyes to her for a second, raising an eyebrow and then began unfolding the crumpled piece of parchment.

With a pang Lily remembered what stood scribbled on it and immediately jumped to her feet.

“Wait, don't read that!” she said, trying to get hold of it but Sirius easily held it out of her reach.

“Why? Don't want me to find out about your undying love for me, eh?” he said wiggling his eyebrows and skimmed it through. In a few seconds his facial expression went from teasing to disbelieving to shocked.

After silently staring at the words for another few moments he looked up at Lily. “You're...” his eyes fell to her stomach.

“I know what you must be thinking of me-” she began, feeling like a kid caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar.

“Are you fuckin' kidding me?” he exclaimed, not hearing what she'd just said. “YOU are not a virgin?”

“Why is the thought of me having sex such a big deal?” Lily cried.

“Come on, Lily, you've always been so damn prim-and-proper”, he said matter-of-factly.

Lily raised an eyebrow, hands on her hips. “Prim-and-proper?” she repeated, annoyed.

“Yeah, you know, never going farther than to second base, never showing too much skin, always good in school, never breaking any rules... kinda boring, really”, Sirius said, that lopsided, sexy smile plastered on his face once again.

Lily thought about it for a second. ‘Prim-and-proper.’ Was that how people saw her? “You're right”, she then said, raising her gaze to his eyes. “I am boring, I am proper. I'm afraid of what people will think of me and I never do anything spontaneous.”

They stared into each others eyes for a moment and then Lily had no idea what got into her, she just grabbed onto Sirius collar and kissed him.

At first it seemed Sirius had a hard time comprehending what was happening, but then he hungrily kissed her back, pinning her up against the wall and squashing him against her so that every inch of their bodies touched.

There was nothing tentative about the kiss. It was hot, intense and sexy. His hands were on either side of her face and she was running her fingers through his soft hair.

Lily couldn't think straight, her mind was a jumble of emotions and ecstasy. Sirius kissed with confidence and assurance and not a little skill, and Lily found herself deepening the kiss.

Suddenly Lily heard a low snicker and she shot open her eyes, jumping as she found Peeve's transparent face right next to Sirius, a few inches from her own.

“Ee-van and Blackie sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!” he sang and disappeared, chuckling.

“Ignore him”, Sirius murmured, leaning in again, but the moment was gone, and reality hit Lily like a bucket of freezing water.

“Stop it Sirius”, she mumbled, placing her hands on his chest, pushing him away.

Sirius backed off, looking at her with raised eyebrows. “What's wrong? It was you that kissed me”, he pointed out.

“I'm pregnant Sirius”, Lily said calmly keeping a steady stare. “It's James's.”

“JAMES?” Sirius yelled, eyes wide. “I can't believe he finally got to screw you and didn't tell me!”

Lily snorted, shaking her head. “Pig”, she muttered, disgusted with herself that she actually enjoyed kissing that. “You can't tell anyone though.”

“Does James know?” Sirius asked.

“I'm working on it”, Lily mumbled, fidgeting slightly. “But I want him to hear it from me, so promise me you wont say ANYTHING to ANYONE, OK?”

Sirius hesitated for a moment, then nodded his head.

“Good”, Lily said and hurried away so that she'd make it back to the common room before the curfew would begin.

7. The thrilling life of Lily Evans

Besides clumsily having to explain to Professor Flitwick that she really, really needed to go to the bathroom and almost vomiting from the smell of Marlene McKinnon's perfume, the days classes had gone by pretty painlessly.

When dinner came around Lily had a hard time keeping her eyes open and as the girls discussed the ball, which had seemed to be the main topic of conversation all day, she simply stared into her bowl of soup, absentmindedly poking the vegetables with her spoon.

She'd been struggling for a week now, trying to reason with herself.

‘Sirius is arrogant’, she'd told herself over and over again. ‘He's childish, he's a bully. He doesn't even like you.’

And there she was, kissing him, running her fingers trough his beautiful hair, pressing her body against him – Lily felt sick with shame and confusion every time she thought of it.

At first she was afraid he'd go around and tell everyone about it, and then the whole school would be whispering and gossiping about it. She hated that she of all people had given in to his looks and charm, when she'd always prided herself on her strength of character. It was so... well, so degrading. Especially when she enjoyed it, which was the most ludicrous part of the whole thing.

But the whispers and gossiping never came, and it began to dawn on her that maybe he'd kept quiet. She was relieved, but also kinda not at all relieved. Was he ashamed? When he'd snogged that Ravenclaw girl last month he'd practically told the whole school about it. But on the other hand, she was much more beautiful than Lily.

FAT, Lily vehemently poked the carrot once, UGLY, she poked it twice, LILY, thrice.

“Hey, Lily?”

“WHAT?” Lily snapped, jerking her head up as she slammed her spoon on the table, making some people jump and look to see what the noise was.

James looked shocked at her outburst and Mary and Alice exchanged looks.

Lily ran a hand through her hair, taking a deep breath. “Sorry, what did you want?”

“It's eight o'clock”, he said and when Lily just looked at him, uncomprehending, he added, “Head boy and Head girl patrol?”

Finally Lily remembered. “Oh, right, I'd totally forgotten about that”, she mumbled and got up from her seat.

James turned and started walking out of the Great Hall and Lily was just about to do the same, when Alice grabbed her arm.

“Just get it over with”, she mouthed to her and tilted her head towards James, giving her arm a squeeze.

When it dawned on her what Alice meant Lily felt stupid with herself. She had been so occupied with what'd happened with Sirius, that she'd almost forgotten about telling James about his child.

She gave Alice the slightest nod and she let go of Lily's arm. Turning away to exit the hall, Lily involuntarily locked eyes with Sirius. He had the most peculiar expression on his face, but broke the stare before she could decipher what it meant.

“Hey, are you coming?”

Lily looked up and found James already halfway down the aisle between the tables with a questioning look on his face.

Lily nodded and silently followed James out of the hall. She was certain; during the patrol round she was going to tell him. She couldn't delay it for any longer. It wasn't fair of her to keep it from him like this. No matter how hard it may be...

Lily gulped, feeling as if she was going to puke. Again.

They walked down the corridor in a tense silence. Not until they reached second floor, they spoke up. At the same time.

“I want to tell you something”, they said with one mouth, turning to face the other.

“You first”, Lily said, feeling short of breath as her heart worked overtime. What could he possibly want to tell her?

James nodded and reached into his robe pocket. “I didn't know who else to tell, but I wanted to tell someone, and your one of my closest friends... Besides I don't think Sirius would've understood”, James rambled nervously.

The word ‘friend’ stung somewhere deep inside of her coming from his mouth, but Lily wouldn't show it so instead she nodded, acting like she understood.

“I think Kia could be The One”, he said, grinning as he pulled out a little black box and opened it. Inside was a beautiful, gold ring with three diamonds on top of it.

Lily drew a short intake of breath as a sharp pain attacked her heart.

His brown eyes were looking right at her, but it didn't look like they were seeing her. “I'm going to ask her to marry me. I've thought about it for a while now and we could get married after graduation”, James continued, not knowing how much his words hurt Lily.

Lily blinked away the tears that came to her eyes and bit down on her lip. “A-are you sure? I mean you're only seventeen, you don't want to scare her away, right?” Lily tried, her voice breaking slightly.

“You don't understand Lily, I want to spend the rest of my life with her, starting now. I want her to be my wife and I want”, he paused for a second before finishing. “I want her to have my baby.”

That was too much for Lily to handle. She felt it as though James had ripped her heart into two. She reached out and slapped him across his face, leaving a bright red hand mark on his cheek.

“You'll never, ever be ready for a baby!” she yelled at him and then ran to the common room with tears streaming down her face, feeling as if her life was turning into a bad soap opera. James stood paralyzed.
